Ravenglass Roman Bath House situated in Ravenglass.
This was long known as Walls Castle and lies to the east of the remains of an old Roman fort. The walls are three and a half meters high, which is the highest Roman walls in the north of England.
This castle is very interesting as it shows the methods of building during that era and they also used plaster on the walls.
You will also find hot and cold rooms, some had under floor heating (hypocausts).
