Carlisle Cathedral – The Cathedral dates back to 1122 and is located in Carlisle, only a few miles from the Scottish border.
Church services have been sung daily in the cathedral for over 900 years.
Some of the cathedral’s attractions include the 14th century stained glass east window and the Brougham Triptych, which is a beautiful 16th century Flemish carved altarpiece.
