Rebuilt in 1633, this is a typical small seventeenth-century dale chapel in one of the most lovely and peaceful settings in the Lake District.

Even after further restoration 1880, it is impressive for its simplicity with nave and chancel in one and a simple bellcote.

The lectern and panelling are seventeenth-century.
