The Wordsworth Winter School – This annual event is a residential course of lectures, seminars, poetry readings, walks and excursions.

The event is organised by the Wordsworth Trust and caters for both the general reader as well as for the specialist.

Everyday starts with an optional walk round Grasmere Lake, and every afternoon features walks and excursions to places of interest that are connected with the poetry.
