Whinlatter Forest Park – The forest is located near Keswick and is England's only mountain forest.

There are a number of viewing points located throughout the forest and fells, which provide breathtaking views of the surrounding area of the Lakes.

The park offers picnic facilities, and adventure playground for children, waymarked walking trails and a permanent orienteering course.

The visitor centre has a tearoom and the forest shop, you can also learn about the Lake District Osprey Project and view pictures of the osprey nest in Dodd Wood.
