Windermere Lake – At 12 miles long, Windermere Lake is the biggest and longest natural lake in England.

There are a number of towns and villages that lie on its shoreline, including Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside.

The lake is very popular with tourists and has a wide range or water based activities on offer, including wake boarding, cruises, sailing and swimming.
