Helm Crag – Helm Crag is located near Grasmere in the centre of the Lake District.

Helm Crag was made famous by William Wordsworth’s immortal phrase, an “ancient woman seated on Helm Crag”.

The easiest route to the summit is from the road from Grasmere.
