Hindscarth – Hindscarth is located in the Newlands Valley and reaches a height of 727 metres above sea level.
The mountain was widely mined in the 16th century by German miners brought over by Queen Elizabeth.
Gold Scope mine runs into the mountain and is a popular attraction with tourists.
