The Mineral and Mining Museum located on Crown Street, Cockermouth.

A small museum assembled around a fine collection of English mineral specimens, which were first collected by W. T. Shaw.

An excellent assortment of fossils and some old miner’s tools, lamps and other items on display. There is an outstanding display of minerals.
