Quaker Tapestry Exhibition Centre located on Stramongate, Kendal.
This museum houses a seventy-seven panel tapestry, inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, which was produced by more than 4000 people from 15 countries to depict the stories and beliefs of the Quakers.
The method used allowed skilled and unskilled embroiders to work together.
