The Dock Museum is situated in North Road, Barrow in Furness This museum is a grand steel structure built over a Victorian dock.

Built to show Barrow’s growth from a nineteenth-century village to a major shipbuilding, iron and steel centre.

This museum is very close to the shipyards that have recently produced Trident nuclear submarines and warships.
