Arnside – Arnside is located on the southernmost tip of the Lake District and is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The town was a former fishing port and has retained many of its original features, all providing a reminder of the town’s history.

Just out of Arnside to the south there are 15th century pele towers, which were built to defend the town from the Scots.

Other attractions located in the town include Arnside Knott, a beauty spot, and Arnside Tower. There are also guided walks across Morecambe Bay on offer.
