Borrowdale – Borrowdale is located in the Borrowdale valley and is one of the main settlements in the area, located to the south of Rosthwaite.

Thanks to its amazing scenery, Borrowdale is one of the most popular destinations with tourists to the Lake District.

Borrowdale valley is very popular with walkers, with the famous gigantic boulder, Bowder Stone, being one the area’s main attraction. Another attraction is Borrowdale’s rich history and tradition of the cotton and flax mills.
