Lamplugh ( Towns & Villages )

Lamplugh – Lamplugh is located on the western edge of the Lake District National Park just off the A5086, near to Ernnerdale Water and Loweswater.

The village’s top attraction is the Church of St Michael complete with aging gargoyles. Lamplugh is also famous for Lamplugh Pudding, which is a secret mix of hot ale; oats; biscuits; and raisins.

This quiet village is a good destination for a slightly more relaxed holiday in the Lake District and is perfect for a base to explore the surrounding National Park.
