Lindale – This tiny village is located on a hill above Morecambe Bay, just off the A590 and to the north of Grange-over-Sands.

Lindale is famous for being the former home of John Wilkinson who is famous for building the first iron boat in the world.

The village provides easy access to the Lake District National Park, which makes for a good base for exploring the beauty of the National Park.

Lindale offers a range of facilities to visitors, including some of the best guest houses in the Lake District.
