Milnthorpe ( Towns & Villages )

Milnthorpe – This ancient village is located in the south of the Lake District on the B5282 just off the A590, to the north of Beetham and to the south of Kendal.

Milnthorpe’s main attractions are its beautiful old church and lively market square, where regular markets are still held every week.

Other attractions near the village include Heron Corn Mill, which is the only paper making museum in the north of England, and the Fairy Steps, a natural limestone staircase.

Milnthorpe is a perfect starting point for a holiday in the Lake District and provides visitors with a number of facilities and services to get their exploration of the Lake District under way.
