Ousby – Ousby is located in the north of the Lake District at the bottom of Cross fell and Melmerby Fell, near to Penrith and to the south of Carlisle.

This scattered village was named after the Norse settler, Ulfsby, who made his home here.

Ousby is a rather quiet village and makes for a good destination for those looking to relax and get a taste of Lakeland life while exploring the beauty that the Lake District has to offer.
